- If decking will be replaced, move or cover attic valuables to protect them from debris.
- Keep the driveway clear while crews are working.
- Take down wall pictures and shelf items that hammering vibration could knock loose.
- Move patio and pool furniture, potted plants and garden equipment.
- Make sure exterior outlets work, or run an extension cord through a window.
- Tell us about wires or pipes added in the attic within 2 inches of the roof decking.
During
During the project
- Check that the delivered shingle color and type match your contract. If not, call your project manager right away.
- Notify your mortgage company. It speeds up inspection and payment.
- Plan to be away from the noise if you can.
- Keep children and pets out of the work area the whole time.
After
After the project
- You or our project inspector should check the attic to confirm no ventilation pipes came loose from their connections.
